Outsiders book questions:
1) When Ponyboy and Johnny were at the park they were in Greaser territory. Why do you think the Socs crossed this invisible boundary and went to the park to fight the boys?
2) When Johnny tells Dally about killing Bob, Dally grins and replies, “Good for you.” Why do you think Dally responded like this? (Page 60)
3) At the end of Chapter 5, Ponyboy recites a poem called, “Nothing Gold Can Stay.” What does the poem mean (think about theme)? Can you relate it to something in life?
