Respuesta :

faster, the greater the denominator gets, the smaller the unit

we know that

a) [tex] \frac{1}{10} [/tex] of an hour is equal to

convert to minutes

[tex] \frac{1}{10} * 60 =6\ minutes [/tex]

b) [tex] \frac{1}{12} [/tex] of an hour is equal to

convert to minutes

[tex] \frac{1}{12} * 60 =5\ minutes [/tex]

therefore

[tex] \frac{1}{12} [/tex] is faster than [tex] \frac{1}{10} [/tex]

the answer is

On the second attempt Ely is more faster

Alternative Method

we know that

When comparing two fractions that have the same numerator, the smallest of the two fractions will be the one with the highest denominator.

the fraction [tex] \frac{1}{12} [/tex]

has the highest denominator

so

therefore

the answer is

On the second attempt Ely is more faster
