Respuesta :
The Indian subcontinent was partitioned into "C) Pakistan and India" due primarily to religious nationalism that caused a rift between believers, who wanted a separate nation in which they could practice their faith.
I believe the answer is: C)Pakistan and India
The partition was created due to the constant conflict that happened among Muslim citizens and the Hindu Citizens. Eventually, they separate the territory into two. Those that government by predominantly Muslim government resided in Pakistan territory and those that governed by predominantly Hindu government stay in India.
