Diane and mick are saving their money to build a tree house. Duane adds $5 to their piggy bank every other week. Mock adds $2 every week. So far they have saved $45.how many weeks have they been saving their money?

How I solved this is by adding what Mock contributes in 2 weeks, which is $4, and adding it to what Duane contributes in 2 weeks ($5), 5+4=9. Then I divided $45 by $9, thats 5, but remember its for every two weeks not one, so 5 times 2=10. ANSWER is 10 weeks.
