Answer: Seeing all the symptoms, the doctor diagnosed the diseases to be Erysipelas. It is a superficial form of cellulitis, by Group A beta haemolytic Streptococcus pyogenes.
Symptoms:
- Tenderness
- Red patches
- Swollen lymph node leading to lymphatic damage
- Pain on touching the patch Purpura
- Bleeding into skin may cause
Treatment:
- General treatment include Cold pack, Compression shockings
- Antibiotic treatment include Erythromycin, Erythromycin or Vancomycin in facial erysipelas.
