Power efficacy is a very 'hot' discussion topic among not only environmentalists who care about conservation but industrialists who desire to minimize cost. The recommended actions for more efficient use of electricity include using only what is required to accomplish the task at hand, turn off power sources when not in use, upgrade equipment to more technologically advanced/more efficient equipment (LED vs. Incandescent bulbs), alternate energy sources (renewable), alter energy use practice or operating times to utilize less electricity (work during day instead of night) or in order to use electricity during a time of less demand thus decreasing the tiered energy cost utilized by electricity suppliers.
