I think the answer is D. Circulatory  because this system helps to get the absorbed nutrients throughout the whole body

The muscular system would work to move the small intestine in breaking up foods. After the foods are fully broken down and the necessary nutrients have been extracted, the circulatory system would take over the job and spread the nutrients to various parts of our body.
