John and Cameron are planning to commit a robbery next week. They have determined the place and time. They have also planned a safe escape following the heist. Which type of incomplete crime have the two individuals committed?

A) homicide
B) solicitation
C) attempt
D) conspiracy
E) trespassing

Respuesta :

I'd say your best bet is conspiracy. The definition of conspiracy is " an agreement between two or more persons to commit a crime at some time in the future" (Wikipedia). John and Cameron have fulfilled the definition.
I also agree this is a D. conspiracy.
These two individuals have conspired to commit a crime, but they haven't done it yet. Homicide is murder; solicitation has to do with prostitution; attempt is also wrong because they haven't attempted the crime yet; trespassing is also wrong because they haven't trespassed another person's property yet, which leaves us only with conspiracy.
