Tai-me is the sacred Sun Dance doll, which at once became their most powerful medicine and the symbol of their spiritual power. The Tai-me bundle is not very big, it is a two feet doll. It's a human-like figure with deer feet and its body covered with feathers. Kiowa people made offerings to Tai-me and it is considered foundational of the Kiowa culture. It was stolen by a band of Osages and although it was later returned, it was considered a tragedy.
