The Columbian exchange brought new goods and animals to America from European nations. Without this cultural interaction, the USA would not have certain foods such as apples, bananas, celery, garlic, honey, lettuce, and lemons. The columbian exchange also brought goods to the Old world from America. If this had not have happened, European nations would not have corn, potatoes, bell peppers, squash, rice, and certain types of nuts.
