No people who do more exercise need more caleries to waste. think of it like this a baby drinks milk and mabey some baby food every few hours. we eat food that have a lot of protein and carbohydrates. we need more energy because we are constantly moving. But then there are the people who work out that need more protein because food is energy and we need more energy
