There are a fews ways you can set this problem up. Here is one way

So once honey bee can make 1 / 12 of honey  so we can say [tex]\frac{1}{12}x[/tex] but the question at hand is how many honeybees are needed to make 1 half teaspoon of honey or we could say 6/12 teaspoon. SO know our problem looks like the following

[tex] \frac{1}{12}x = \frac{6}{12}[/tex]

Now all we need to do is solve for x
[tex] \frac{1}{12}x = \frac{6}{12}[/tex]
[tex] x = 6[/tex]
So it would take 6 honeybees to make 1 half teaspoon of honey.
