The difference between those two newspapers appeared after the event known as “The Boston Massacre”. This was a street fight in which British Soldiers and a patriot squad fought, leaving 5 American colonists killed by the British and provoke the anger of citizenry. After the event, the Boston Gazette, a weekly newspaper in the American colonies, blamed the British for the incident while the London Chronicle, a newspaper published in London three times per week, blamed the colonists.
