Ear has three parts. These are outer ear, middle ear and inner ear.
The outer ear includes pinna and canal. middle ear is separated from outer ear by eardrum, it contains three ossicles, i.e. malleus, incus and stapes. Cochlea and semicircular canals are present in inner ear.
The sound waves passed from outer ear to middle ear in the form of vibrations created from eardrum, these vibrations are then sent to inner ear. From inner ear the signals transmits to the brain.
Thus, eardrum conducts sound waves to middle ear.
