Well your average mother board is not going to be made to run high quality graphics on games and not be able to run your frames at high rates unless its a really simple game like minecraft but depending on what gaming motherboard you get it can really improve your game play overall gonna help everything maybe not so much as a graphics card or a cpu so those are the main things you are gonna want but the mother board is what allows all your compenets to do their jobs and a normal board cant do it as well if as a gaming one can a normal board is made more for just searching the web and doing work!
