COMPOUND A IS IONIC AND COMPOUND B IS MOLECULAR.
Ionic compounds have some properties which distinguish them from molecular compounds, these include: high boiling point, high melting point and high and their rate of vaporization is low compared to molecular substances. The molecular substance on the other hand have low melting point, low boiling points and they vapourize easily. These differences are due to the strength of the inter molecular forces among the molecules of these substances. The inter molecular forces between the molecules of ionic substances is stronger than that of molecular substances.
