If the dollar depreciates against the british pound, u.s. goods sold in ________ would become less expensive and british goods sold in ________ would become more expensive. the united states; the united states the united states; great britain great britain; great britain great britain; the united states

Respuesta :

Depreciates means lose value. If the dollar depreciates against the pound, it means the dollar has lost its purchasing power. Which invariably means that you need more dollars to purchase one pound. Say it traded last week at 1.8 USD to the pound. If it cost 2USD to purchase the same amount of pound then it has depreciated. British citizens spend pound in britain while Americans spend dollar regardless of where the goods was produced. US goods sold in britain will be cheaper because it cost the brits less pound to purchase it. While British goods sold in the US will be more expensive (the dollar has lost its value).
