Yes mixtures can be separated....by using some methods like fractional distillation,sublimation,filteration etc
As mixtures are of two types homogeneous and heterogeneous it depends upon the mixtures that how they'll be separated like if u take a mixture of iron granules and sugar then u will use magnet for mixture of water and sugar u will use evaporation method if sugar and salt is mixed then put the solution in alcohol then one of them either sugar or salt will be eliminated
