Need help writing an essay on Muckrakers?
Hey guys! So this is my first question, who are Muckrakers?
What did they do? Why were they important? When were they at their highest and how did they make their living? After I answer these questions I have to compare them to todays muckrakers, but like I have no clue what my history teacher is talking about. I've been sick with the flu for the past 2 weeks and she just like, threw this at me. Sorry for the many questions!

- Question 1: muckrakers often worked to expose social ills and corporate and political corruption

-2: because they exposed unfair business practices, such as monopolies, and gave press to social injustices, such as tenements, in an effort to bring about change.
