It can help with a lot. It can help with a longer life span, a very good and healthy and fit body as well as even helping to prevent some diseases and help curing them.
Firstly, your health would definitely increase and you would decrease your chances of multiple cancers such as heart disease. In addition, you would also be decreasing your chance of becoming a diabetes victim. It would also mean that you can do more, not to offend anyone who is obese, but people who are less obese can do more physical activity and spend time outside their home or doctors offices (if they have severe obesity).
