The criteria that Stephanie believes that make her consider
that her daughter is abnormal is the violation of social norms. Social norms
are the rules of behavior in which are being establish in a way of distinguishing
what is considered to be acceptable in the group or in the society in a way
that her daughter had violated this rule because of the way she changes her
appearance.
