A student has repeatedly failed all the assignments and quizzes in his math class. now, he is unwilling to even go to class or try studying because he feels like there is nothing he can do. what phenomenon most accurately applies to his motivational problem?

Respuesta :

A person who has been unwilling to pursue his activities may be experiencing a phenomenon known as 'learned helplessness'. A person who can no longer be motivated after failing a series of Mathematics tests can be a clear example of one who has simply given up from trying. The outcome of his activities which are mostly out of his expectations may cause him/her to accept the fact that that is what is meant to happen, thus they can adopt to their system the fact that they are helpless with the situation.
