On Mars, an object weighs 60% of its weight on Earth. Shane weighs 125 pounds on Earth. How much would Shane weigh on Mars?                    Please help im so CONFUSED!

Shane would weigh 60% of his 125 Earth pounds.  Since "of" means multiply we have 

.6 x 125 =(60% is .6 - you move two places to the left to change a percent to a decimal)

.6 x 125 = 75 so Shane would weigh 75 lbs on Mars.
