An indirect object pronoun (un pronombre de objeto indirecto) is a person that receives the action of a verb indirectly. It tells us to whom or for whom something is done, You can see the different forms of indirect objects in Spanish in the Table below. To find the indirect object in a sentence you need to know to whom or for whom an action was done. On the other hand, there are two places where indirect object pronouns can be placed namely:

1. A ustedes les gusta practicar deportes.
First blank: les
Second blank: gusta
les is the indirect object pronoun for the formal you. On the other hand, gusta is the conjugation of the verb gustar. Therefore, this means in English:
You like to play sports.
2. A nosotros no nos gusta mirar la televisión.
First blank: nos
Second blank: gusta
nos is the indirect object pronoun for the first-person plural, that is, it tells us that the action was done to/for us. As in the previous exercise, gusta is the conjugation of the verb gustar. Therefore, this means in English:
We do not like watching television.
3. A mí me gusta estudiar mucho en la escuela.
First blank: me
Second blank: gusta
me is the indirect object pronoun for the first-person singular, that is, it tells us that the action was done to/for me. As in the previous exercises, gusta is the conjugation of the verb gustar. Therefore, this means in English:
I like studying hard at school.
4. A la familia le gustan los días festivos.
First blank: le
Second blank: gustan
le is the indirect object pronoun for the third-person plural, that is, it tells us that the action was done to/for them. As in the previous exercises, gustan is the conjugation of the verb gustar. Therefore, this means in English:
The family likes holidays.
