In what ways did the Constitution strengthen the central government?

The constitution contained 3 branches and the Check and balances
It set up the central government. It gave the government a guideline as to how it was going to run our country. No one could amend these rules, and the government couldn't take away freedoms without representation. States, under the Constitution, had to abide by it's law's and policies.

I hope this helped you!
