As the available technology improves, the gap between the haves and have-nots curve shifts to the haves. In the wake of the FCC net neutrality ruling, removing regulations put in place during the Obama-era that sought to uphold an open-internet, now allows for the oligarchy of companies to further control the item once thought to be the great equalizer: the internet.
