When a patient begins showing signs of life (assuming CPR is already being performed), you should place the into the recovery position. I would not particularly continue CPR until EMS arrives because it can cause more problems. They don't need to stand after being clinically dead. The only one that is the most logical is to place them in the recovery position.
The recovery position is rolling them onto their left side with the arm on the ground above their head and the other by their side. This position will help keep the airway more clear if the individual begins vomiting but is not conscious enough to physically move.
