A blood vessel bursts in the brain damaging the surrounding tissue

None of the above

Respuesta :

The mode of action for an ischemic stroke is when a blood clot is blocking flow to part of the brain. Ischemia definition is when oxygen is no longer able to get to the part where the blockage is causing lack of oxygen to the tissues thereby causing necrosis. There is a very important saying in the field that, "time is tissue". The longer the ischemia happens, the more tissue dies and those tissues cannot rejuvenate.
The answer would be A. A blood clot blocks blood flow to a part of the brain.
