First what you need to do is find what 40% of all the suit prices are. I used a calculator but ill show you the manual way
0.40 * 256.80 = 102.72
All you need to do is muliply, heres the answer with work shown:
Multiply as you would normally, without the decimals
Then when youve reached your answer, add in the decimals.
0.4 (40%) has 1 decimal place
256.8 ($256.80) has 1 decimal place
therefore your answer with have 2 decimal places, just a tip, dont count zeros when you are talking about decimal places UNLESS the zero is before a number of value such as 0.03 (3%) do not say it has 1 decimal places, it has 2
