Nicole wanted to hang 3 picture frames in her room. The widths of the three frames are 8 1/4 inches, 1 1/2 feet, and 1 foot, 3 5/6 inches. If she hangs them next to each other with 2 inches between them, what is the total width of the wall space she will need? plzzz explain ur answer

First what you will want to do is convert all the widths to inches so that it’s easier to work with (i’ll let you convert them yourself). then after you have converted all of them, add all the widths up. (8 1/4 inches + 1 1/2 feet + 1 foot 3 5/6 inches). Once you do that, you know that there will be 2 inches between each frame, which would allow for 4 inches of extra width to be added to the total of the frame widths that u calculated before. after you add 4 inches to the previous total you calculated, that’s uour answer!
