Can you write an equation of the line containing the points (14, -8) and (-2, 4) using point-slope form?

Respuesta :

We can find slope by using (y1-y2)/(x1-x2).

(-8-4)/(14+2) = -0.75

Now put it in point slope form:
y-y1=m(x-x1)

y+8=-0.75(x-14)

Simply

y = -0.75x -18.5
