These are four original reasons from me:
- His writings involved classical themes such as love, romance, tragedy, and death. People never bore of any of these!!
- Shakespeare is subjectively a good writer. His stories have been rewritten in hundred of versions and translations since they were published.
- His writings are an entrance into the world of English. This is why English teachers are required to assign their students with his stories. Reading and studying them.
- Shakespeare writings are so well written that readers often cannot tell whether his stories are fiction or non-fiction.
