It's from the story Iliad.

Andromache begs Hector not to join the battle; she tells him that the Greeks will want to kill him more than any other warrior because his death would break the Trojan’s spirit. Hector replies, “Dear wife, leave these things to me. I am not willing that any son or daughter of Troy should see me keeping away from battle. I hate the very thought of it; I must always be in the front.”
