The reproduction asexual
refers to the time when an organism one cell follows and that is capable of
forming an individual identical to the original organism. Nuclei of sex cells
or gametes do not intervene in this type of reproduction. There is only one
parent. Even so, science is trying to use this knowledge about asexual
reproduction to apply it from a medical point of view in aspects that can be
much more positive and important for the life of the human being. One of these
applications and, perhaps, the most important, is to create clones of tissues
and organs of any person from cells. This opens up an infinity of
possibilities, one of the most important applications being that of organ
transplantsÂ
