The multiple answers provided above are not really the ideal answers one can choose from. However, they are closely connected to the question. The best answer to question 1 should be Storing and Browsing data to question 2. 
If Meg is using google chrome, at the top right, click on the 3 dotted lines, settings, passwords and forms, manage passwords and then turn the option off.
To disable browsing data, meg should go to the top right, click on the 3 dotted lines, settings, privacy and security, under security, uncheck send a "Do Not Track" request with your browsing traffic.
