The correct answer is B).How trees, which are helpless, must be protected from fools .
John Muir(1838-1914) was a naturalist that supported the conservation of forest in the United States. He worked to protect natural reserves such as the Grand Canyon in Arizona and Yosemite Valley, in California.
Muir considered that forest preservation was very important for the country because people needed to be in touch with nature not only to do exercise in the Woods but to have moments alone to make introspection.
In 1892, Muir founded the Sierra Club, dedicated to the preservation of the environment. He had the idea that people should leave its daily and tired routines to enjoy nature in the Woods and scape from the city.
John Murin wrote several books. The most important: “The Mountains of California” (1894), “Our National Parks”(1901), and “My First Summer in the Sierra”(1911).
