Testing indicates that water can be acidic or basic and this can be measure through the potential of hydrogen or pH of water. Solutions is said to be acidic if the pH is less than 7 and solutions with a pH greater than 7 are basic. Moreover, tap water had an approximate pH of 7.5, the distilled water had pH 5.7 while outdoor water derived from mineral water had pH between 7.5 and 8. This numeric scale can be affected by temperature, as temperature increases, pH decreases. This occurrence just explains that the point at which pH is neutral drops. Here, the hydrogen ions and the hydroxyl ions in the water are still balanced.
