Read this excerpt from We’ve Got a Job. "I want to go to jail," Audrey had told her mother. Which best describes the point(s) of view used in this excerpt? first person only second person only first person and third person second person and third person

Respuesta :

  • first person and third person

c. first person and third person

Point of view can be determined by the use of pronouns.  First person will use pronouns such as “we, us, I, me, my, myself, mine, our, ours, ourselves.”  Second person will use “you” pronouns such as “you, your, yours, yourself, yourselves.”  Third person will use pronouns such “she, her, hers, herself, he, him, his, himself, they, them, theirs, themselves, it, its, itself.”  When we look at the excerpt, we see the pronouns “We, I, and her,” but not “you” in any form. This means that first person and third person are present.
