Respuesta :
There are parts of the ocean where little rain falls but warm dry winds cause lots of evaporation. This evaporation removes water and when water vapor rises into the atmosphere, it leaves the salt behind, so the salinity of the seawater increases. One of these places is the Mediterranean sea. The Baltic sea doesn't have this condition and also has multiple rivers flowing into it so it's water is less salty.
The Mediterranean & Red sea have more salt than Baltic sea because the process of evaporation is more higher than other.
What determines the Salinity of Sea?
In most sea, the salinity therein is controlled by a balance between water removed by evaporation and freshwater added by rivers and rain.
In the Mediterranean & Red sea region, there are little rain falls but warm dry winds which cause lots of evaporation and this removes water, when the water vapor rises into the atmosphere, it leaves the salt behind, so the salinity of the seawater increases.
Therefore, the Mediterranean & Red sea have more salt than Baltic sea because the process of evaporation is more higher than other.
