The United States, initially, tried to stay out of World War
I but they helped the allies ‘short of war’ by sending much needed supplies.
After soon joining the war on the Allied side, the United States brought manpower
along with supplies to the Allies. Increased production of stuff made the U.S
an industrial and economic power after the war.
