Two technologies that helped build the Hittite empire were the ability to work with iron, as iron was much better than bronze and gave the Hittites the upper hand when it came to combat against other nations, and the other was the documentation and having a written form of language which enabled faster and more secure communication among important people in their empire, compared to other people from other empires.
