1) Freedom's Journal B. WAS THE FIRST BLACK NEWSPAPER IN THE US. It was founded by Rev. Peter Williams Jr. and other free black men in New York City. It was a weekly journal and its first issue was published on  16th March 1827.

2) B.) ABRAHAM LINCOLN spoke out against the Mexican-American war. Henry David Thoreau also shared Lincoln's sentiment.
