If there was a couple ( husband and wife) and the wife was killed the husband would be the first suspect,why because he is in close connection with the person.

If there was a sexual predator in a neighborhood and a child was raped he/she would be considered a suspect because of their criminal record

Another case is those people founded in the crime scenes, they are not guilty, but are consider criminals because were found inside the scene, a lot of circumstantial evidences are against them.
