The bombing ultimately would have affected the beaches, its flora and fauna. Even then normal contamination affect the surrounding communities and their tourism influenced economy. Also what would they do after the military left? Bombing test wont be exclusive to the same bombs....bigger and bigger or more intese bombs would of been in placed also equipment. Which is true since a tank is deserted their as well.
