I never learned about the bibles sayings until recently, but I've always been taught that God is real and I should have faith in Jesus and the Bible and what not.

I read that the bible says the Earth is 6000 years old. Is this true? I'm just curious.

Scientifically no. Earth has existed for millions of years. The Bible doesn't tell you about dinosaurs yet we know that they were real because of fossils. But according to the Bible we are only a few thousand years old. I guess it depends on what you personally want to believe in and if you are going mix science with religion.

Actually the earth has been around for a long time, but the bible is saying that HUMANS have been around for 6000 years old.
