joe is conducting an experiment to determine which liquid will cause bean plants grow faster. he watered the plants with equal amounts if liquid and measured their height every other day. the plants are in the same pots with different soils and placed in the same location. will joe be able to obtain reliable data to write a supported conclusion?

here are the options A yes because he is only observing the hight of the plant. B yes, because he consistent with watering the plants. C no, because he used different soils. D no, because he use only one type of plant

Respuesta :

 C. no, because he used different soils.  The answer is C. Joe used different soils. Each soil has its own properties which could greatly affect the growth of a plant. For instance, sandy soil has big particles hence drains water fast, it is therefore not the best soil for growing a plant compared to loam soil which has small particles which is the best soil for growing plants. Assuming that he used sand and loam soil, the plant will grow differently hence he will not get accurate results of his experiment.
