It is a characteristic of a system that regulates its internal environment and tends to maintain a stable, relatively constant condition of properties.
In plant it is necessary to maintain homeostasis to function properly. Endocrine plays an important role in homeostasis as hormones regulate the activity of body cells and the release of hormones into the blood is controlled by a stimulus that either causes an increase or a decrease in the amount of hormone secreted.
