Do you mean how to turn a percent to a decimal? If you do then all you have to do to change a percent to a decimal is divide by 100 or an easier way drop the % sign and move the decimal point 2 places to the left of the number
Percent of change = amount of error/actual value * 100
A percent of change is a ratio that compares the change in quantity to the original amount.
Equation:
percent of change = final amount – original amount/original amount
Ex: 9.25 – 6.50/9.25 * 100
= 2.75/9.25 * 100
= .29729729722973 * 100
= 29.7 % decrease
Ex: 7.5 – 4/ 7.5 * 100
= 3.5/4 * 100
= 0.875 * 100
= 87.5 % increase
