DRE voting machines is an electronic data processing (EDP) method for counting ballots at polling places.
The answer is DRE voting machines because the other options were: voice vote, lever-operated machines, and vote by mail. Those other options are clearly not electronic and therefore could not be the answer. A DRE is a Direct-Recording Electronic voting machine which is why it is the only answer that would work, because it is the electronic system.
