Well on obvious reason is that it is illegal to false advertise... there is also a term used in economics called "bait and switch" which is where they advertise an amazing product, but then you go the the store and they dont have it so they show you the "next best"... this practice is also illegal.

People who've had experienced that will undoubtedly decide not to choose that advertisement or company since they spent something that is part of them (ex. money) to get what they want and/or need then they will get absolutely different from what they want and/or need.
